Criteria for
different trades Clerks, Signal, Medical,
Veterinary, Electrical Mechanical Engineer etc is as under:-
Clerks.
Clerical staff shall be enrolled separately for the purpose
of clerical work only. Clerical
staff shall not be liable to be transferred to General duty,
same as provide in sub-rule (i) of rule 16 (transfer from
one cadre to the other will be at the request of the
individual).
Signal,
Medical, Veterinary, Electrical Mechanical Engineer.
No enrolment to the specialist
/ technical cadre shall be made direct. Persons for such
cadre shall be initially enrolled in General Duty, then
selected and employed in specialist / technical appointment
by the respective Commandants or the officers authorized to
do so. Such personnel as are deputed to serve in the
specialist technical cadres shall get the normal trade /
specialists pay assigned to the appointment / trade as long
as they are serving in that particulars appointment. Those
already enrolled in the specialist/technical cadres shall
continue to service in their respective cadres.
